Today we studied the works of Winsor Mccoy, one of the first character animators. The animations include Gertie the Dinosaur, Dreams of the Rarebit Fiend, and How a Mosquito operates. These animations are both quite basic due to being such early on in the progress of animation. However, at the same time shows how far animation had already come by 1911.
